Voxelite

Introducing Voxelite: a volumetric light sculpture packed with 2877 points of light. The centrepiece is suspended in the air, allowing the 2m-tall cubic lattice of LEDs to be viewed from all angles. While dormant, colourful bubbles gently float up the column, giving a modern twist to the classic lava lamp. As curious hands discover the arcade-style buttons beneath, Voxelite springs to life with percussive sounds and dazzling animations in response, transforming the piece from a serene light display into an interactive audio-visual spectacle.

Voxelite was created for Burn In The Forest 2024 (Merritt, BC). A version at least 10 times larger is planned for 2025.
